The WPC expresses its full support to the Vietnamese people for the continuing suffering of more than one million victims of the toxic Agent Orange used by U.S. during their dirty war against Vietnam.
The CMP calls all WPC members and friends to join actively the international campaign for compensation for the victims and a total ban on all chemical weapons.
The WPC expresses its support for the right of the people of the People's Republic of China to determine their own affairs without foreign interference and rejects any use of the Olympic Games for political purposes.
The CMP, to hold its Assembly in Latin America, values \u200b\u200bthe new political reality in the region, which is a growing bastion of resistance against imperialism in the world today. After powerful social and political struggles against neoliberalism, the people inflicted significant defeats of imperialism. These processes are aimed at finding ways for their own sovereign nations and peoples, and confront the imperialist hegemony in the region. We particularly value the experiences of Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia and other countries that face the open threats and intimidation of imperialism.
Likewise, we recognize the progress of the different and complementary regional integration processes, such as the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA), the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) and Mercosur, and declare our support for the full incorporation of Venezuela to Mercosur. We applaud the defeat of the proposal annexation of the Free Trade Area of \u200b\u200bthe Americas (FTAA).
The WPC condemns the acts of the reactionary forces of the local oligarchy, in collaboration with the U.S. and its allies in the region and in Europe, to overthrow Venezuela's Bolivarian Revolution.
The CMP also condemns the secessionist intentions of the oligarchy in Bolivia. We support efforts to build a society of justice, peace and solidarity, in accordance with the wishes of the people.
The WPC condemns the recent attacks by Colombia in Ecuador, which are explicitly the new phase of Plan Colombia, and represent efforts to impose on the region's strategy of preventive war U.S. imperialism
The WPC denounces the assassination of leaders and negotiators from the FARC.
The CMP congratulates the leaders of Venezuela and Ecuador to resolve the tension peacefully. The "humanitarian exchange" proposed by Hugo Chávez, should be carried out.
The WPC condemns the existence of foreign bases throughout Latin America, including Honduras (advanced operational sites) and the School of the Americas in El Salvador, a country that has been forced to send troops to Iraq. We also declare our support for the sovereign decision of President Rafael Correa of \u200b\u200bEcuador to close the U.S. base in Manta in 2009. The WPC expresses
support to the people of French Guiana for their right to self determination. It also calls for the decolonization of all territories in the Caribbean.
The WPC expresses its deep respect and solidarity to the Cuban people, continually defending their revolution against all kinds of manipulations and sieges. The WPC reiterates its demands for the lifting of U.S. blockade against Cuba, and the release of five Cuban political prisoners held illegally in the U.S.
The WPC denounces the new surge in development in the "imperialist chessboard" of the Balkans, with the separatist and unilateral declaration of "independence" of Kosovo. This is a new act of flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Serbia as an independent state, international law and relevant UN resolutions. The WPC expresses its solidarity with the peoples of former Yugoslavia, and calls to peace-loving forces in the area to unite and coordinate common actions against the imperialist plans.
The WPC expresses its support and solidarity to the peoples of Poland and the Czech Republic, which rejected the deployment of U.S. bases in the "Defensive Shield Anti-missile" in their countries. U.S. used as a pretext for its plans to build military bases in the system of missile defense in the Czech Republic and Poland, the non-existent nuclear threat Iran. The real reason is to gain ability to deliver the first strike without fear of backlash. This U.S. policy to build a missile defense must be stopped.
The WPC expresses its solidarity with the Cypriot people for a unified, independent, bi-zonal and bi-communal Federation in accordance with UN resolutions and the high-level talks, without foreign bases and troops, a country common for Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots with neither "guarantors" nor "protectors." Africa is the target
interference and exploitation of new economic and political well by their former colonial rulers and neo-colonial aimed at further plundering of its resources and at the same time, the distribution of new markets. The WPC denounces the imperialist imposition of economic sanctions against countries that do not accede to the wishes of the powerful, under the pretext of lack of democracy and violation of "human rights." Within this context, we demand the lifting of economic sanctions by the U.S. and the EU against the people of Zimbabwe, and declare our support for their right to decide on their own land and future.
The presence of numerous military bases in Europe, and the increased deployment of military forces in Africa (ie the EU mission in Chad and the Central African Republic Central), are causes for deep concern, taking into account the past and in view of future events on the continent. Imperialism tends to intervene in the region using the pretext of internal conflicts in Sudan. The WPC expresses its support for a sustainable solution to peace in this country without any foreign military intervention.
The WPC expresses its strong solidarity with the peoples of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, for their decades of suffering and oppression. The Council underlines its support for the struggle for freedom of the Saharawi people and for a political solution, mutually acceptable between the Frente Polisario and Morocco.
Given the current development conflict situations in Africa, especially in Darfur from Chad, Central African Republic, Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, among others, the General Assembly and stimulates CMP supports all the actions for peace and détente carried out African movements for peace for the peoples of the nations in conflict.
Challenged by the U.S. imperialist efforts to dominate the world along with its allies, we the delegates of the Assembly of the CMP, we express our security and our confidence in the future of humanity. Through massive and coordinated struggles our peoples, we can achieve our objectives. As some examples of anti-imperialist resistance and struggle clearly demonstrate, the future is bright for humanity.
The Assembly calls upon all organizations and movements of national, regional and international, to be ready to work and fight to defend the peace against imperialist plans to unite our voices and actions for a world of peace, equality, justice and solidarity.
