Legalities Regarding Head Stones

al14 warmongering The Vortex Empire

Since early 2008, have intensified the resistance and alternative constructions of neoliberalism in Latin ours. From Mexico, Venezuela and even Argentina, embrace of solidarity with Cuba, the manifestations of desire and will to change are manifold. There are multiple subjects and multiple identities, all converge primarily around the joint construction of another America, Our America, rooted in their own realities, cultures and interests. Common is the conviction that the future nests elsewhere in ourselves, away from the imperial project that has been exporting from Washington or from Brussels.

I've said time and again, we face a scenario of break with the legacy operating chains of colonialism. Neoliberalism was ultimately a response to the processes that were popular among the sixties and seventies, subverting the order foreign to our interests. Neo-liberalism was the political and economic response to the rebellious insurgents who lived at the time, was the political and economic component of the counterinsurgency strategy that was deployed from Washington. And the bet was extended by a new imperial order, pacified with blood and fire, which was intended to enact the history of class struggle and liberation struggles.

However, to his surprise, the story refused to die and slowly bore everywhere new players of a plurality of struggles, committed to self-determination of the circumstances outside the new neoliberal order, ie, reconstruction from themselves and their indigenous realities of their individual lifestyles, social and political.

However, the neoliberal reaction was immediate. And is that the war is integral to its purpose. Already been demonstrated, for example, in the late seventies in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. For neoliberalism, there is no difference between war and politics. War is the continuation of politics by other means and, in turn, politics becomes war by other means, sometimes silent or low-intensity, sometimes open and high intensity, whatever. The purpose of this permanent war is defense of the neoliberal order. Precisely for this reason, accepting that the history of class struggle has no end, has no end this war. This is how our societies are conceived in a permanent order of battle and war becomes the main source for the articulation and reproduction of the neoliberal order. This requires, to be effective, the criminalization of all forms of resistance and contestation, by the continued use of coercion and violence against women. It also requires a capacity for preventive reaction against the bulbs most emblematic of the challenge to imperial control system is intended to implement.

From this perspective, democracy and the rule of law (especially human rights guarantees and constitutional) barriers that stand neoliberal order needs siding. Instead, it seeks to impose a state of emergency, national and international level, where the material effectiveness of the actions of the Empire becomes the new criterion for the validity or legitimacy. Increasingly it is plunging us into what has been described as "a true legal civil war "between the rule and people. The power law is also a battlefield.

This permanent war we intend to impose the Empire has, in our America, a staunch ally, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe. His most recent adventures warmongers, the violent and illegally invade Ecuador to quell the guerrilla insurgency of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), sought to impose on the region this new strategic framework promoted by the government of George W. Bush. Faced with the principle of territorial inviolability of the sovereignty of nation states, Bush and Uribe attempted to impose a new standard, intervention proactive or unilateral invasion of third countries according to the security interests of the invading country or receiver.

However, the shot met them both for the stock. Uribe's unilateral action only received approval from Washington, while the rest of the international community, particularly Latin America, collectively condemned the Colombian aggression on the sovereignty of Ecuador. Even the Organization of American States (OAS) had found Colombia responsible for the violation of Ecuadorian sovereignty, which was to reaffirm "the principle that the territory of a state is inviolable and can not be subject military occupation or of other measures of force taken by another state, directly or indirectly, any grounds whatsoever, even temporarily. "

Then, in the XX Rio Group Summit held in Santo Domingo, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was responsible for taking the initiative to stop the dangerous proliferation of a series of diplomatic reprisals and accusations. "The conflict spills, you see the threat this poses to peace, to region," he said.
And he explained: "It is time for reflection and action, we have time to stop a whirlpool which we could repent, not just us but our people, children and communities, we do not know for how long. " He lamented that after this conflict is the U.S. government and the warmongering of the Empire. " "There is an interest rate of wing warmongering U.S. government that does not end this war in Colombia."

"Let us find the path to peace, let us leave the possibility of more war" was the resounding call the Venezuelan president, which was accepted unanimously. Uribe, cornered, he had no alternative but to ask forgiveness and make a commitment not to ever again assault a brother country.

However, beyond the intentions diplomatically expressed at the summit in Santo Domingo, is still to be seen whether Uribe reconsiders in their feast desire to hinder the development of a process of diplomatic negotiations and in policy to immediately proceed with the release of hostages held by FARC and release of prisoners of war and political relations between the Colombian government. If there is anything that showed the current crisis was precisely Uribe's stubbornness preventing the successful mediation of Chavez, especially fearing that acceptance of the proposal made by the Venezuelan president for recognizing the FARC as a belligerent force in order to facilitate and ensure a climate and framework for more reliability and security for future contacts and negotiations. In their stupidity, Uribe has led to increased international pressure for a political solution to the ongoing conflict in war that exists in Colombia for decades.

Washington's claim to impose the war as the only way of doing politics in the current situation in Latin America, has failed so far. Uribe is the instrument to impose the framework of permanent war throughout the region, and disqualification as "terrorists" all those who fight against their imperial pretensions. Latin American Summit in Santo Domingo emphatically denied both.

Finally, we can not ignore this logic underestimated and less harmful. Hence, if what it is to open the way to the path of peace, at the same time we take the word in its favor, we must also go to the firm action. Today, word and action are inextricably linked as never before in this ongoing battle order in which we now inhabit. Even the words are trenches from which struggled to give it another meaning to things, away from the vortex's war Empire.
