The district of Pueblo Libre scene I was Corso's Day Great American Cleanup and Citizenship, entitled "For a clean and sustainable Peru. Separate your waste. Ya!" organized by the Ministry of Environment (Minam), on Saturday 18 September. This activity aimed to propose ecological participatory solutions to problems related to solid waste management as papaples and cardboard, plastics, glass, among others.

The director of "Generarte" Milagros Esquivel, was happy to participate in the parade because "we should all care for the environment" and thanked the sector ministry to entrust the task of convening groups of artists as "The Long March of Muñecones" (Comas) "Kilombo" (Villa El Salvador) and the Youth Volunteer Minam. For its part, the sculptor Cecilia Aliaga presented "Reborn", a tree made of rubber, production of which took three months. "The idea is to create a tree by reusing the material which has been damaged and give it meaning," he added.
Other sculptures that participated in the parade were "Warrior of the wall" and "hornbill", both produced by Miguel Baca works for the exhibition "recycle."
Tomás Flores, chairman of the Environmental Committee Tacora, recycle since age 10. "It's a nice experience, you learn many things, how to separate solid waste from toxic waste," he said. So far the committee has trained on recycling more than 500 people.
The parade began at 10 am in the park San Martín de Pueblo Libre and toured the main streets of this district, like Bolivar, Brazil, Vivanco, culminating in the Park Three October, around noon, with a big party. Editor: Michelle Cervantes.
